Southern Section TOC news: New: 3/12/06: We hope everyone had an enjoyable experience! This is our temporary site until our new website is completed, but everything you need to know is provided right here, including printable entry forms and online registration. In our 2nd Annual event we have added two more counties eligible for the Southern Section. San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties bring our total to NINE counties highlighting the best Southern Section wrestlers in the state. Those placing in the top 8 in each weight class will earn recognition as the best in Southern California and qualify to represent So Cal at the Jr High State Championships in Selma, CA on March 17, 18th 2006. Host Site This year, the Southern Section TOC will be hosted by The God Boyz, Centennial Corona Wrestling, and USA Team Conquest. Tournament Date: March 10th, 2006 (Weigh-ins ONLY 5:30 to 9:30pm). March 11th, 2006 wrestling begins at 8 am to conclusion. Location: Corona Centennial High School, 1820 Rimpau, Corona CA *This is a pre-entry, pre-fee event. Participant must make weight entered in competition singlet. |

Online Registration Southern Section TOC is the ONLY qualifier for CA Jr High State which is held in Selma, CA. Our TOP 8 wrestlers in each weight class will compete against the TOP 8 wrestlers from the NorCal TOC to crown a true STATE CHAMPION. .Entry Deadline: March 8th, 2006 Fee: Pre-entry fee of $25. Online registration or overnight traceable mail is highly recommended. Wrestlers can only enter one weight class. Coaches passes will be $10 and can me purchased at registration or on the day of competition. Admission: $5 for adults and $2 for children. Time Periods 1 1/2- 1 1/2- 1 1/2 including finals. Consolations 1-1-1. Overtime: 1 minute then 30 seconds tie breaker if needed. Award: Trophy and medal for 1st Place. Medals 2nd thru 8th. Team Trophy or plaque for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. MVP Trophy or Plaque for lower, middle, and higher weight divisions. CRITERIA: All wrestlers must reside in one of the following NINE counties: San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, and Imperial. Wrestlers who come from other counties will not be permitted to wrestle and there will be NO REFUNDS. All wrestlers must make weight entered in competition singlet. NO Changes at weigh-ins. Wrestlers must be in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grades (age group is combined). If you have a 13 year old 5th grader, he/she will NOT be wrestling. Wrestlers must not be older then 15 years old (meaning no 16 year olds will be competing). BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND REPORT CARDS MUST BE MADE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST OF TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS. By paying entry fee and acceptance thereof, I hereby release and hold harmless all participating groups and other persons connected with this event, from any and all liability for my injury or damages whatsoever arises from any participation in this event.
